Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. Specifically, within the HID (Human Interface Device) Apple driver, the `apple_report_fixup()` function did not properly free a newly allocated memory buffer. This memory leak could lead to resource exhaustion, potentially causing system instability or a denial of service (DoS) for a local user.
