Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's vidtv driver. This vulnerability stems from a failure to check for a null return value during memory allocation within the `vidtv_psi_pmt_stream_init` function. This oversight can lead to a null pointer dereference in `vidtv_channel_pmt_match_sections`, causing a general protection fault. The primary impact of this flaw is a system crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
