Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's OMAP General Purpose Input/Output (GPIO) driver. The omap_mpuio_driver is incorrectly registered from within the omap_gpio_probe() function while a device lock is already held. This can lead to a potential deadlock condition, which a local attacker could exploit to cause a system hang, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
