Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Near Field Communication (NFC) pn533 driver. A local attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a continuous stream of malformed Universal Asynchronous Receiver-Transmitter (UART) traffic. This improper handling of incoming data leads to an unbounded growth of the receive buffer, which can exhaust system memory and result in a Denial of Service (DoS).
