Description
A flaw was found in the drm/buddy component of the Linux kernel. This vulnerability occurs when the system processes memory allocation requests, particularly for contiguous or large non-contiguous blocks. Incorrect rounding of the requested size can lead to an allocation exceeding available memory, which triggers a BUG_ON condition. A local user could exploit this by providing malformed input, resulting in a system crash and a Denial of Service (DoS).
