Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's netconsole component. The system processes messages from the console subsystem without ensuring they are properly terminated, which can lead to an out-of-bounds read. This vulnerability allows a local attacker to trigger a kernel crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for the affected system.
