Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's NTFS filesystem driver. The `->d_compare()` function, responsible for comparing directory entries, was found to perform blocking operations. This behavior, along with the misuse of `names_cachep` for memory allocations, could lead to system unresponsiveness or a denial of service (DoS) under certain conditions.
