Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Btrfs file system. A malicious user can exploit this vulnerability by creating multiple files with names that result in the same hash. This action can trigger a transaction abort, causing the file system to switch into a read-only mode. This ultimately leads to a denial of service (DoS), disrupting system operations without requiring administrative privileges.
