Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's `drm/amd` graphics driver. When a GPU initialization fails due to an unsupported hardware block, certain IP blocks may have a null version pointer. During the device cleanup process, the `amdgpu_device_set_pg_state` and `amdgpu_device_set_cg_state` functions attempt to access these null pointers without proper checks. This can lead to a kernel null pointer dereference, potentially causing a system crash and resulting in a denial of service.
