Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel, specifically within the wm97xx power supply driver. A timing issue, known as a race condition, can occur during the driver's setup. If an interrupt is triggered at a precise moment, it can cause the system to attempt to use an uninitialized memory pointer, leading to a NULL pointer dereference. This vulnerability could allow a local attacker to crash the system, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
