Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's bridge multicast module. This vulnerability arises from an inconsistency in how the system tracks multicast database entries (mdb_n_entries) for virtual local area network (VLAN) contexts. A local user with network configuration privileges could exploit this by performing specific operations, potentially leading to a kernel warning and system instability.
