Description
A flaw was found in FreeIPMI. This vulnerability is a stack-based buffer overflow in the _read_fru_data function, which occurs when a Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) returns more bytes than requested. A remote attacker could exploit this flaw by sending a specially crafted response, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution.
